Alright folks, we're almost done restoring the site to how it was before we went down. All that's left to do is re-establish the content sections/categories and get the articles that were here before to display properly. I'll also be making the Language Support stuff a lot cleaner. In addition, I'll be finishing with the new skin (that was planned to be used anyway and should satisfy most everyone, as it's sort of a mixed dark/light skin) for the site and translate the new skin over to the forum, since the ProSilver skin on the boards is a little... well... boring. Thanks for all your kind words with regard to the restoration effort, everyone. Also, be sure to check out the forum article on making strong passwords so that we can avert situations like this one in the future. The directory structure for the main site as well as the forum has changed, so if you were using the subdomains for your links, please change them to the updated URLs. http://forum.otherkinalliance.org/ - The front page of the forum. As the directory structure has changed, the old URLs for particular articles and the "Latest Posts" section of the forum may not work properly. Please bookmark to main sections of the site that are more or less static, or insteald of using a bookmark like "http://otherkinalliance.org/phpBB3/..." use "http://forum.otherkinalliance.org/..." This will eliminate at least some confusion and at least a few problems. Your old RSS links will not work either, so update those as well. As a side note, to those of you who created your accounts AFTER the 12th of September and BEFORE the 16th of September, your account may have been lost during the database rollback. If you cannot log in in the box to the left, please re-register. |
