Alot has changed for Otherkin Alliance. We've launched our new forum, and our sister site, The Silver City.org. In an effort to minimalize community drama and restore as much harmony as is humanly possible, Otherkin Alliance would like to make a statement to the community. In January of 2008, Otherkin Alliance terminated it's forum due to several factors. These reasons were personal, professional, and monetary. Several incidents incited hard feelings and strong emotions in many, many people. Otherkin Alliance was a home to a community, and we the staff were aware of this. It was due to such personal developments in the founders personal and professional lives that this event occured. After a three month hiatus, however, we have re-oriented ourselves, our goals, and our purpouse. That being said, many people were struck a severe blow when OKA went down. Feelings were hurt, crushed even, and there was anger and bitterness abound. Insults were exchanged, people were yelled at, hurtful things were thrown around. As always in such a familer atmosphere, people knew exactly which buttons to push, and pushed they were, by all sides. So now, in the intrest on once again bettering the comminuty and strengthening it's foundation, the founders of Otherkin Alliance would like to offer our sincerest and heartfelt apologies to anybody caught in the cross-fire. It was never, EVER the intent for ANYONE to be hurt or to made to be feel abandoned. Otherkin Alliance has, in it's way, always been a family, and we are sorry if, at any time, if any of our actions caused it to appear otherwise. That being said, OKA stands proud. We've never died. OKA lives on in the hearts of it's people, and long after our time on this earth expires, it will continue to do so. We would like to remind everyone that, no matter how bad things get, there is no such thing as OKA death. Like our phoenix breatheren, we rise from the ashes anew as a bright and buring symbol of freedom and magick. Otherkin Allianc eis not just a website; we are a people, and we live on. Love, Adnarel
