Real Vampirism, as misleading the term may be, is considered a condition of one’s soul or metaphysical, energetic or subtle body. It is believed to be a “deficiency” of one’s life energy (Prana, Ki, Chi, etc) in which one must take of blood or energy from outside sources in order function comfortably and maintain one’s spiritual and physiological health.

“Feeding”

There are at least two main methods of “feeding” or two “types” of vampires (though for many, a vampire is a vampire); one is through the drinking of blood known as sanguinarian (or Sanguine) feeding, which takes the energy from the physical source. Blood is believed to contain life energy, and for many vampires is the vessel from which they are able to attain the energy they require. *Some exclusive Sanguine feeders will debate of a physical component in the blood, that they believe they need. As of yet, there have been no known findings by the medical or scientific fields to support this debate.

Another method is known as, Psychic, Psionic or Pranic feeding which involves manipulating the energy of one’s surroundings and bringing it into themeselves. This method of feeding is sometimes branched into a variety of “types” of feeding. This article will further explain both method of feeding.

-The taking of energy through the drinking of another’s blood
-Typically the amount of about a shot glass per month should suffice. Amount of need does vary depending on individual need and availability of donors.
-The person offering their blood to you MUST be a willing donor

-Do not become greedy. Be aware and mindful of the vampire’s need as well as the donor’s well being.

Psychic/Pranic/Psionic (psy/psi) feeding:

-The taking of energy straight from an outside source through methods of energy manipulation.

-Types of Psy Feeding:

–Ambient feeding, which is feeding that can happen automatically. Usually one can be oblivious to what they are doing when ambiently feeding.
–Active feeding, purposely taking of energy

-Methods of Psy Feeding

–Crowd feeding, which is taking energy from a large group of people
–Tendril feeding, which is taking energy from a specific person or people through a psychic connection, also known as a tendril
–Emotional feeding, the feeding off of the energy given off by one’s emotions
–Natural feeding, which is taking of energy from nature and your surroundings (storms, forests, etc.)
–surface feeding can be done by skiming the surface or the edge of one’s aura..it can be done through physical touch, such as hugs and other physical or metaphysical means.
–Deep feeding is best done through a tendril it focuses on one point, the core of the donor’s energy and pulls from the deepest parts, deep feeding can be very dangerous and is not reccomended because it takes a great amount of energy and can damage the chakra and/or energy body
–Tantric, or sexual feeding, where the vampire will feed through more sensual, sexual moments. it forms a stronger bond/tendril and as with all feeding it risks obsession between donor and vampire and other side effects.

Hybrid

-Term for those who can or choose to feed through both psy and sang methods.

Turning

-Turning is commonly believed to be impossible.
–Some debate the possiblitity of turning, however the belief is that the only way to create a vampiric condition in one not born with the condition would be to damage one’s chakra or energy body to such an extreme that it can not repair itself naturally. With the Metaphysical body being Parallel and connected to the physical body, this is considered dangerous and could result in dire consequences.
—It is said that it is believed there are none powerful enough nor crazy and heartless enough to attempt such a thing.

Awakenings:

-An awakening is the process of gaining awareness and coming to terms with one’s self and their being.
-Awakenings, in vampirism, are considered mainly spiritual, though they can effect or influence one mentally, physically and emotionally.
-Awakenings are not solely vampiric and can be had by anyone (spiritual, religious, etc).

Pseudo-Vampirism:

Also termed: Sympathy-, False-, or Temporary Vampirism.

-Caused when one is drained too much,and can not naturally replenish their energy to the point of needing to pull energy in from elsewhere.
-Pseudo-vampirism should go away with time.
-If a donor experiences symptoms of vampirism They should stop donating, rest and be given time to refresh their own energy systems.
