On Being Human, Amplified
by Sejatte
There are universal secrets that we hold inside of us, secrets that cause our minds to run in never-ending ciphers; we bleat to the heavens and hope all of those secrets can one day be revealed. Trapped by titles and labels and the scientific touch of skepticism, we remain steadfast, yet helpless in our own design. I have not thus far been idle or comfortable in my cipher, and change is like the flow of white lies.
Many have asked me what ‘Human Amplified’ means and I have skirted the topic with mysticism and magik; I have shown you all what I know and not what I believe. I want to change that with this humble bit of writing today. Do not judge my visions of heaven, or my echoes of assumption that I have crafted to form a faith; my beliefs are untouched by man but they are made weak by the haughty eye. I will no one to follow me where I’m going on this journey; legends have scarred over and left only the breathless hope of one day showing my cipher to those that have also lifted their mundane eyes to the possibility of immortality. We are otherkin, I am otherkin, and I want to tell those that will read this why.
I do not believe in past lives, I believe that there is only one life given to us; this one life started at the beginning of time and will end when there is only nothingness remaining in the universe as a whole. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but it can be changed by sentient experience. But during this one everlasting life, we are given the opportunity to understand everything by living through it; memories of living as an animal, or a blade of grass, or a celestial being are not finite recollections of past lives, but memories of this one, long and ever changing life. This spark of life, the immortal soul of our being cannot be killed. It moves from place to place, from idea to idea, learning and experiencing all it can in order to reach a state where it can return to its starting place. This beginning, the place (or source) contains the purest essence of life and because we are sentient, must be willing and able to mutate the frequency of our souls in order to return there. Earth and being human is one of the final stops on this journey.
So, our souls may have been forged someplace very different and very far away, incarnated into whatever the mind can imagine. I believe you when you say you are an elf or an angel or a dragon. I believe that your cipher will one day pull you back to the place your soul belongs. But there is much work to be done in order for that to happen.
Within a mortal body, we have to die. It is inevitable and necessary so that our soul may move onto another lesson, challenge or test. If we were to remain immortal in a mortal shell, then the ideal of heaven and the afterlife would pointless and moot. So we must die in order to find immortality. Living a life on earth, as a human, gives us a grand opportunity to evolve our souls and learn what we must in order for our energy to be attracted to and therefore absorbed by our individual cipher. I call it a cipher because it never ends; even when your energy returns to the source and our bodies must no longer die, the journey is not over. Over time, living in the place where your energy belongs, your soul becomes tainted by sentient experience. It is in a constant state of change and there will come a time when your immortal energy can no longer sustain itself in your personal cipher (you may have forgotten how to be compassionate, or kind, or humble, or you may no longer remember what it is like to know the fear of mortality, etc.). It is no longer pure and therefore is gets pulled back into a mortal life somewhere. It experiences new things, learns new lessons (relearns in some cases), and gets back to its purest state where, once again, it is pulled back to your personal cipher, your source. It’s a cycle. As otherkin, I feel that we know more about the place where our souls feel at peace. I feel that we have an advantage and that we are at one of the last steps before we can move onto that immortality because we have knowledge of it. We have odd memories and odd beliefs; we know things other humans do not know. We have aspects to our personalities that other humans do not; we feel things other humans do not and can do things other humans cannot. Therefore, we are humans amplified. We have only to live this mortal life on earth to the fullest extent of our sentient capabilities in order to move on.
Now, the only problem with this whole ideal is that one must truly know where they soul belongs, not just guess at it, wish at it, or hope. Religions do it; the Christian idea of heaven is a belief of immortality and you must live you life on earth a certain way to gain access to it. If you fail to live your life a certain way according to essential tenants, you won’t get in to this heaven. I use Christianity as an example because many of us have basic knowledge of its dogma. But in this way, all religions (except Scientologists) are, on some level, absolutely correct. But ultimately every souls development is personal; so while they may try to make you lead a good and just life, your path may completely different. Your path may involve murder and prison and the lessons that go along with it. You may feel that your life have thus far been completely unfair and is filled with pain and strife and you find yourself constantly asking ‘why me? What did I do to deserve this?’ See, what I find wonderful is the fact that the universe wants your energy to return to it’s source and it will manifest the right things in your life to help you learn what you need to learn. You just have to be willing to accept and acknowledge it.
Some people’s idea of heaven and immortality is much more simplistic than the detailed beliefs of an otherkin. Some people, all they want are the fluffy white clouds of a Christian heaven and they will be happy there. For awhile at least, until their cipher breaks and they move onto something else, experience something new, and learn something different. It is why I do not judge religious people or feel like they are ‘wrong’. They are on their own path as we are own ours.
If you are still reading this, thank you. I mean no offence to anyone or their system of beliefs: These are just mine. Its one of the reasons why I embrace everything this life throws at me, good and bad, I want to experience everything I possibly can and I never want to get complacent or arrogant in my beliefs. It’s why I feel like stagnation is a fate worse than death because while we may break our ciphers and our energy may bounce around- it never stops. I feel like we are never done learning and if you think you are done learning, it only means you have that much more to learn. Well, that’s a glimpse inside my head, my basic beliefs in a very small nutshell. And that’s why I am otherkin and how I am a human amplified.
