For many people the concept of the astral pane, heaven, hell, alternate worlds, worlds that exist beyond our accepted physics, is something that is hard to accept. Many people find it hard to think that magic can exist in any form like it does in some of the books we read, or even how it exists in our memories, because of the way this planet is set up. Some of us, including myself, are met with the desire to be able to see certain things when we perform any type of energy manipulation; like something inside us is expecting a certain outcome, only to be met with disappointment when we don’t get this outcome. So the question becomes, how do we get around these laws of physics which make it impossible for these things that are a part of us to exist? I’d like to introduce a theory I have developed which I will call Universal Layers, which helps to answer this question and provide base for the existence of other phenomena.

There are many views of the universe that science itself has come up with. There’s the universe of string theory that has up to 26 mathematical dimensions, the multiverse which views it as a tree, the bubble theory, etc. None of these theories does an adequate job of explaining the world in which Otherkin have come to expect. As a result of my own experiences with other people I have come up with a picture of the universe that involves worlds stacked on worlds. Each world has a certain vibration intensity, much like how our astral bodies vibrate at a different intensity than our physical bodies. This enables the astral plane to co-exist with our physical one without much interaction, though because they vibrate closely there is some interaction. I have expanded on this theory and included the concept of heaven into it as well. The concept of heaven, or any afterlife you believe in, operates at an even higher vibrational intensity. Think of it like the rungs on a ladder. The physical world is near the bottom, then the astral plane, and then a spiritual plane. The spiritual plane, where beings exist in a purely spiritual form, is among the highest rungs. In between these two extremes, other worlds can exist. These worlds, which operate with different intensities, would have different laws of operation. Instead of atoms and molecules, these worlds would be made of varying degrees of energy until you get to the highest rungs which are pure energy and not physical in the least. These are the worlds in which energy is everything, and anything is possible. At the lowest rungs there is not much energy at all and so magic is severely dampened.

Since these worlds can operate at different intensities, they overlap one another. This makes it possible for such phenomena as walk-ins or co-location. Say a being from a “higher” world steps into a being from a lower world. Because highers can fit into lowers like a Russian doll, the lower may be momentarily subdued or pushed aside. Channeling could work in similar ways in which a being of higher intensity, or spirit, hops in momentarily. As for co-locates, a brief explanation may be necessary.
A co-locate is an individual who, for whatever reason, has a soul that exists in two different worlds at the same time. A rare occasion to be sure because it takes a certain type of being to be able to split themselves up like this without it resulting in death as it would in most other individuals. These ‘kin may have flashes from their “other side”, feel like a piece of them is missing, or even have moments where they actually “channel” themselves over. This is made possible because the spirit can exist in multiple levels as long as they are lower than its own vibrations. These people often have more memories and are able to recall more details because of the active connection between the two halves, and the fact that it is not a past life they are remembering; but a current one they are living in parallel. Each part of the spirit is controlled by a different brain, however, which minimizes the contact and interaction between the two sides. It is thought that as soon as one half dies it is rejoined with the other half.

In conclusion this set up of the worlds makes many phenomena possible, including ghosts, because of the vibrations and how they sometimes can vary and get mixed up. It can explain how magic is possible in our memories, but not possible here. Maybe the layers have something also to do with the Veil, or maybe is the veil. The bottom line is this theory can explain our memories and even why we are here: simply because our spirit dropped down a rung or two on the ladder.
