My love is a forest,
Always calling me home.
To the welcoming bed,
Of mosses I come.
Where the sweet stillness,
Lies waiting for the moment to breathe.
As the sunlight flickers,
Through the leaves of the trees.

My love is so joyful,
While the others gather around,
And dance with the flowers,
Who speckle the ground.
We celebrate the lightening!
Make love in thunderous dreams!
As rain droplets come falling,
Through the leaves of the trees.

Compassionate gifts,
Flowing freely from the heart.
Igniting a passion.
Bathing in warmth.
The glow draws us nearer,
Like honey draws bees.
As the firelight flickers
Through the leaves of the trees.

How fleeting is time
In the arms of my forest.
The wind comes to call,
Singing along with fall’s chorus.
It is time to surrender,
A kiss on the wind will release.
Shaking free all the memories,
And the leaves from the trees.
