Hello there, again, members and guests alike.

Keeping you all posted on recent upates. Several articles from our forum have been published to our contents section, and by several great authors, so go have a look! If you can think of anything you’d like to see added, or have a great idea for an essay or article, please don’t hesitate to share it with us in the articles section of http://forum.otherkinalliance.org.

Technical issues that are pending; many incoming members have been reporting that their membership requests are being denied. Please note that our spam filters are very, very sensitive – so if you are caught up in this, you may send us an email at OtherkinAllianceStaff@gmail.com so that we can enter you in. Due to the nature of some of these emails that we have been receiving, however, it’s inadvisable for you to send us nasty mail. Several people recently have been denied entrance to our site just for this reason. For your privacy and safety, our spam filter is meant to keep out all sorts of problems, and we ask that you respect the lengths that our staff is going to to make sure it stays that way. If waiting to get in is going to bother you, send us a message before you try and register, so we can be on the lookout for your email address. This way, everyone is happy.

In other news – some of you have been asking us about a chat. As you know, OKA used to have one, however, due to several elements, cost included, the chat was taken down. Still, since our members are asking us to put one back up, we are considering this option. A raffle fundraiser to win an iPod is being held on the forum, so check it out.

We’re also taking donations for Kin Weekend 2010, which the staff has decided will commence this year (if we get enough RSVPs). Submissions are now being accepted for workshops and speaking/lecture ideas; you may email these to the the aforementioned OKA staff email.

Thanks so much, on behalf of all of us, and OKA looks foreward to your continued friendship and support.

Yours respectfully,
The OKA Staff
